WILL START SEASON AT BELMONT PARK. E. A. Burke, who has his string at Pimlico, lias decided that he will not begin his campaign this year until the opening at Belmont Park. The most promising horse in the Burke string is the steeplechaser Light Arms. He has been going along in a manner that has well satisfied Burke, who trains his own horses, and he has been well engaged during the season. It is probable hat be wlil first be aaea under silks in the running of the International Steeplechase Handicap at l-inc.nt Park, June 4. lie is also engaged in the Meadow Brook anil the Brand National Steeplechases, as well as having been named for the Saratoga fixtures. Another in the string is the six-year-old gelding Pilgrim Father, a son of Cicero — Pilgrims Way. He is rated a good one, but not the equal of Light Arms. Mr. Burke will do niobt . of his own riding this season.
