CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockey A. Claver was decidedly in the limelight at Mount Royal Park Thursday, piloting four win ners to victory. U. S. Wishard claimed Nettle Walcutt from R. L. Frailer for 25 after she won the fourth race Thursday at Mount Royal. It was at the suggestion of Mrs. August Belmont, who is active in promotion of Red Cross work, that a Red Cross Fund Day lie named by the various New York racing organizations, the profits of such days to be turned over to the Red Cross. Clara Morgan was so badly injured Wednesday at Mount Royal Park that it was found necessary to destroy her. Jockey Scherrer, who was injured while riding the horse, is reported to be doing a little better, He had uia leg broken in his fall.
