PROSPEROUS IN BLUE GRASS REGION New York, September S. Algernon Daingerfield, assistant secretary of the Jockey Club, has returned from Lexington, Ky., where lie visited Ills mother, who recently suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Daingerfield speaks in glowing terms of the prosperous conditions in the Blue Grass region. "Kentucky, especially in the region of Lexington; where the good thoroughbreds come from, is mar-velously prosperous," reports1 Mr. Daingerfield. "All Che crops have been fine, especially the tobacco rbp. As for the thoroughbred weanlings, no owner will talk any smaller price than 0,000 far any ono- of them, and the breeders are all much encouraged over the good results of the recent Saratoga sales."
