SIR BARTON SHIPPED TO FORT ERIE SARATOGA, N. Y., August 9. Trainer U. G. Bedwell decided yesterday on Sir Barton to carry the colors of J. K. L. Ross in the 0,000 added Dominion Handicap, to be run the opening day at Fort Erie, and the crack racer was shipped last night to the Canadian track. John F. Schorr also shipped Edward B. McLeans The Porter, which will also start in the. race. Sande will leave for Fort Eric tomorrow to ride Sir Barton and OBrien will have the mount on The Porter.
