Frigate appears the best two-year-old shown bv Frizzle thus far this year. His dam, Kaskaskia, "a .daughter of Yankee and Kiamesha, was also a good winner under the colors of the Oneck stable. The officials for the Dufferin Park meeting, which opened yesterday, are: Ed Cole, P. Calan and W. R. Norvell, judges; E. Allen, paddock judge; Frank McGinty, starter. M. Hirscli, owner of Grey Lag, winner of tlie first race Wednesday tit Belmont Park has decided to take the colt to England next year to fill his engagement in the Epsom Derby. The steeplechase course at Havre de Grace has been changed to conform with the rules -of tlie National Steeplechase and Hunt Association and the management will offer a number of cross-country races if these contests fill.
