HEATH BELL began well on the inside and, setting a good pace, raced RESARF into defeat and although coming wide on the stretch turn, drew away and won easing up. RESARF ran well and was hard ridden most of the way. DELLAHM saved ground when entering the homestretch, but tired in the final drive. SMITHFIELD fenced well and had to be hard ridden to outstav OLD BILL BENDER, but won going away. OLD BILL BENDER ran well, but his rider lost a stirrup at the ninth fene arid lie was forced wide by the winner after taking the thirteenth jump. A claim of foul was not allowed. DECATHLON pulled up at the tenth and fell at the eleventh fence, but was remounted and finished the course. RAY O LIGHT fell at the sixth jump. A QQQ SIXTH RACE 3-4 Mile. Sept. 4, 1915 1:12 5 105. BLAZONRY began slowly and dropped back in the early running, but saved ground on all the turns and, finishing with a rush next to the inside rail, won in the last strides. THE DECISION set a good pace, but came wide when entering the homestretch and tired in the final strides. HIDDEN SHIP ran well and outstayed MACKENZIE for third place. The latter ran well. CAPTAIN B. set a good pace to the stretch but pinned his ears back arid sulked all of the last eighth and finished well out from the rail. ANMUT saved ground when entering the homestretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. PLAYER ran well for three-quarters.
