DEVONSHIRE PARK STATISTICS Over 00,000 in Overnight Purses Distributed During Seven Days of Most Successful Racing. Over 00,000 was distributed among the horsemen during the second meeting of the year at Devonshire Park, which was held from September 1 to September 8. While this in Itself is a splendid showing, the fact that it had no rich closed events to help swell the total, not a stake race being on the program, makes it all the more remarkable. That the Western Racing Association made no mistake in its policy was seen in the large fields engaged in the racing and the immense crowds that witnessed it. Of the horsemen participating in the meeting four of them won over ,000 each, J. Dundee first with ,000, followed by F. Dahn-ken with ,750, J. Arthur ,400 and G. H. Abbott ,300. The list of the leading money-winning owners, who won 00 or more each, is as follows: Owner. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt. Dundee, J 2 0 0 ,000 Dahnken, F 5 1 0 7,750 Arthur, J 1 3 1 5,400 Abbott, G.
