Tlip latter was hard ridden all tlie way and finished with u belated rush. MACHINE GUNNER set a good pace, but was too much used up. in racing CLARE FRANCES, into deefat and quit in the last eighth.. The latter began slowly, but gained steadily on the extreme outside and finished fastest of ail. HEAD OVER HEELS set a fast pace to the last eighth and tired. GENIE W. had no mishaps.
