R. A. SMITHS NEW WINTER QUARTERS BALTIMORE, Md., October 30. Fred Musante has nrraiiged to ship at t lie conclusion of the Bowie meeting his entire string to Newark, Delaware, where "they will be wintered at the farm recently acquired by It. A. Smith. The latter purchased a few months back the Dr. Murray farm, which contains up-to-date stables and good half-mile track. Horsemen who have bee:i there declare the place an ideal spot to winter. AVhen the Maryland season conies to an end Mr. Smith will send his two useful campaigners, Irish Kiss and Slippery Elm, to his place at Newark, where they will be rested up until next spring. The remainder of his horses will be shipped to New Orleans.
