NEW STABLE ESTABLISHED AT TJpANA SAN DIEGO, Cal., December 8. Baron Long, managing director of the U. S. Grant Hotel of this city, and Carl Withington, capitalist, have bought from W. T. Anderson his entire stable of thoroughbreds quartered at the Tijuana track. There are nine horses in the string and they will be raced under the name of the San Diego Stable. Anderson, a veteran of the turf, has been retained as trainer. Messrs. Long and Withingtons plans for the future also include the establishment of a j breeding farm in the vicinity of this city and hope to have the pleasure of seeing horses of their i own breeding " carry their colors in years to come. The horses purchased from Anderson are Gwen-dola, Aryanna, May Worth, Private Pete and five yearlings, three of which have been named as follows: Polly Wale, ch. f, by Uncle Our Lassie; Dora T., b. f, by Uncle Estimate, and Sample, b. g, by Brummel Seemly. The unnamed youngsters are by Uncle and Martinet. I
