CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF There are thirty-five brood mares and two stallions. Fair Play and Disguise, at J. H. Bosso-ters Wikiup Ranch in California. When the .new dressing on the Tijuana track becomes firm and settled predictions are made that it will be much faster than it ever was. The King James filly My Dear was a good and consistent winner for her owner, F. Musante, during the racing of 1920, her total for the year being 5,100. Uppity Witchet is reported in splendid condition at the Fair Grounds track in New Orleans. It is not probable that he will race before the first of the year. Jim Arthur has his old reliable Bondage to thank for the success achieved by his stable this year, that son of Ogden accounting for 9,201 of the 0,479 to Arthurs credit. Frank Proctor, the well-known gentleman jockey, has purchased the four-year-old Jim Petrie, by Wiie In Cannie Maid, from Charles Crew and will make a jumper out of him.
