TUBED HORSE WINS DERBY CUP The Derby Cup, an important English autumn race at 1 3-4 miles and worth 0,030, was run ut Derby, November 20, and won by a tubed horse which had been a cripple all summer, and was only operated on in September for his throat affection. Tubed horses often win spiint and middle distance races, but cup victories for "roarers" are novelties. The horse was Lord Pcnrhyns Kerasos, 3 years old, by Kennymove Quick, which carried 114 pounds and beat a good field to win by two lengths.
