Won driving; second and third the same. TWO EYES took a quick lead, raced TOSCA and BERTHA MINIX into defeat and just lasted long enough to outstay DRAFTSMAN. The latter was wearing the winner down and would have beaten her in a few more strides. BERTHA MINIX ran well. BLUE FLAME and SCINTILLATE were caught in the webbing and as good as left. Won driving; second and third the same. McLELLANI, after being forced wide, came again in the stretcli drive and. wearing GUARDSMAN down, passed him and got up to win in the last few strides. TIMOTHY J. HOGAN began slowly and closed a big gap, but was tiring in the final strides. SMITE set the early pace and, after being crowded back, made a fast finish.
