1 i : 1 1 : i l LATE KENTUCKY GOSSIP I LEXINGTON, KY., August 8. Phil T. Chinn, manager of the Himyar Stud, arrived here this morning from Saratoga to give his personal attention to the loading and shipment of the forty-four grand yearlings that are to leave here Thursday for the Spa to be sold next week. Twelve yearlings to be put into training will be shipped from here tomorrow morning. Miss Elizabeth Daingerfield will send the following nine, the property of Walter H. Jeffords : Filly by Hainaul Datnoe ; filly by Harry of Hereford Bathing Girl; filly by Eroomstick Understudy ; colt by Radiant Collet ; colt by Great Britain Lavenirem ; colt by Rudolfo Miss May ; colt by Thunderer Mistress Ballot ; colt by Short Grass Elfinsar; colt by Ballot Smokey Lamp. Barry Shannon will send three that were bred, foaled and raised at Idle Hour Stock Farm. The bay colt by Broomstick Seamstress and the brown filly by Broomstick Julia Leon, are the property of George W. Loft and will go to Max Hirsch. The brown filly by Black Toney Installator is the property of T. J. Shaw. Manager Shannon has not been advised who will break and train this youngster. Inquiry at St. Josephs hospital today-brought the cheering response that jockey Thomas Cummings has regained consciousness and that he has a good chance for recovery. Jockey Harry Gray, who also was injured in the spill at the negro fair yesterday afternoon, will soon be back in the saddle. His right hand and his lip were cut.
