TO INSPECT NEW PURCHASE Benjamin Block Expected at Lex ¬ ington to Look Over Derby Candidate and Morvich LEXINGTON Ky March 2G Benjamin Block the New York broker who last year won the Kentucky Derby with Morvich and who last Thursday evening paid 27000 for Aspiration with which he hopes to win an ¬ other Derby this year unless it may prove that he has a better candidate in Better Luck which Fred Burlew is training for him in the East is coming to Lexington next Wednesday WednesdayHe He so advised Col Phil T Chinn in a let ¬ ter in which he inclosed his check in pay ¬ ment for the son of George Smith and In ¬ spiration His visit here will be for the dual purpose of seeing the colt he has just acquired and seeing Morvich Aspiration is in Jack Bakers stable at the Kentucky As ¬ sociation track and Morvich is at Miss Eliza ¬ beth Daingerfields Haylands Stud Both horses are in excellent hands and are in splendid condition Morvich is to go back into training for autumn racing and his owner very likely will determine while here when he is to be shipped to New York Sunday was a fine morning and many per ¬ sons visited the Kentucky Association course but they saw nothing that bordered on the sensational because it is a bit too early to expect fast moves this being five weeks in advance of the opening of the spring meeting meetingA A L Dahjman who represented Victor Vivadou in the purchase of Fabian the two yearold halfbrother to Aspiration and Startle for 7000 and the twoyearold Our Star sister to Metric for 3100 today stated that these horses will be shipped to New York Tuesday or Wednesday in charge of Johnny Miller who will deliver them to Fred Taral TaralRed Red Harvey the nervy little Canuck who is under contract to Gallaher Brothers and who made a fine record in riding at New Orleans the last winter has reported to the stable of his employers at the Kentucky As ¬ sociation course Jockey J Heupel also under contract to Gallaher Brothers is also here Allan B Gallahep who is in charge of operations at the racing establishment as well as at the farm today stated that his brother John has decided to remain in the West until there is more improvement in his health and probably will not come to the races until late in the summer
