i I » — . BELMONT PARKS PADDOCK NEW YORK. X. Y.. April 1 I— Superintendent II. T. Iels of the Belmont Park track has had more requests for stable reservations than he can accommodate. He is busy supervising the work of preparing the bis Nassau County plant for spring racing. A big force of carpenters is at work building a new paddock at the western end of the Ma-comber stables. The grounds are being cleaned up and the stands freshened up. The time shown by the horses working on tile main course during the last few days shows the condition of the track. The going is in as good condition as mid-season and training work should proceed at a rapid rate from now on. » .
