NEWS FROM BRIGHOUSE PARK VANCOUVER. B. C. May lr..— There arc-approximately 100 horses stabled at Brig-house Park, the majority of which came directly from Tijuana by express. The aUb-bles represented are those of Messrs. Boyd. Abbott, Elmer, Reid, McKeown, Cooper, Heard, Larson, Sullivan, Elander, Neil Bros., Col well, Strite, Givens and others. The lu rses will be rested up for the Brighouse Park meeting, which is scheduled to begin on June M and continue to July 7. The rebuilding of the entire Brighoy.se Park plant, with the exception of the stables, is pre gressing most rapidly. The work will be completed by June 1. The daily purses at Brighouse will total .500, with more money added for feature races.
