JAMAICA NEWS BRIEFS NEW YORK, N. Y., May 15. S. Gooch claimed Liberty Girl for ,650 after she was beaten in the third race. After Prince of Cmbria was winner of the fifth race Monday, he was claimed by C. G. He;, wang for ,105. News was received at Jamaica of the death of "Chappie" Levy, who was well known to New York racing for many years. After the race today S. C. Hildreth decided he would send Zev to Louisville and he will be shipped Thursday. The owner and trainer of the horse Nat S. was lined 0 for running his horse in blinkers without obtaining permission from the stewards. Mortimer Murphy came on from Pimlico with the horses of Samuel Louis. He also brought jockey Mein, the apprentice that has I been riding in Maryland with a good rneas- 1 ure of success.
