LAST REVEILLE, away forwardly, set a fast pace and raced into long lead after rounding the last turn, then tired slightly in the stretch, but held his lead tenaciously In the final drive. BLUE STBEAK raced in closest pursuit throughout and was gaining at the end. STELLA MARIS was taken in behind her opposition to the last eighth and finish with a belated rush under a poor ride. Won easily; second and third driving. LADY ARGOS was away fast and taking the lead at once set a fast pace and always held way. IMPOSSIBLE raced forwardly and under vigorous riding finished gamely, but had crcssed in front at the start and was disqualified for fouling. MITAU, shuffled back in the first oighth, finished gamely through the stretch. BESSIE GERSHEL, off slowly, closed a big gap. RANDOLPH raced well. BAUBLING had no chance after the start. FLINTSTONE followed LADY ROSE under restraint in the early racing, then took the lead when called on and won as his rider pleased. LADY ROSE, away fast, set a great pace early and raced gamely in the final drive. CURTIS raced prominently all the way. ORCUS saved around on the turns, but was unable to improve hi3 position. STING, on the outside throughout, was restrained close up for the first three-quarters and coming fast through the stretch responded gamely to a hand ride and outfinished FRIGATE. The latter was a fcrward contender from the start and took the lead after entering the stretch, but tired under his impost in the last few strides. DAZZLER rushed into the lead at once, but tired after leading fot three-quarters. MISS CERINA saved ground on the turns and had no mishaps. PEDDLER began slowly and retired after going a half mile. Wen easily; second and third driving. TOP SERGEANT followed BEVERWYCK closely for the first mile, then passed him and taking a long lead in the stretch won cased up. RAMKIN was outpaced in the early running, but closed up fast in the final quarter. SIR GALAHAD II. also closed a gap and finished gamely. BEVERWYCK tired after setting a good pace to the stretch. Start good and slow. Won ridden out; second and third driving. SHERMAN had a clear course on the outside for the entire race and, coming fast under a hard hand ride through the stretch, got up to win in the last stride. REPLY, under slight restraint in the early racing, endeavored to slip through on the inside when entering the stretch ,but was shuffled back, then came with a rush through the final sixteenth, but too late. VARIATION set a fast pace and raced BONAPARTE into defeat in the first half mile, but tired finally. BLIND PLAY was hard ridden all the way. BONAPARTE tired badly in the last eight.
