I TANFORAN TURF NOTES A. B. Spreckels, president of the Pacific Coast Jockey Club, and the leader in the movement to revive racing in California, was delighted with the wonderful gathering at Tanforan Saturday and expressed himself as confident over the ultimate success of the experimental meeting. Dr. H. J. Macombcr, brother of A. K. Ma-comber, is one of the most keenly interested in the Tanforan meeting. This is his first fling at the sport of racing and he is one of those who helped make the present meeting possible.
