Y., Nov. S. John Sanford has decided to bring home all his European-bred weanlings and they are now on the way here on the steamship Minnewaska, which sailed October 27. Mr. Sanfords lot consists of two colts and six fillies. All of them are bred in the purple and no matter how they fare on the race course will be valuable for stud duty later on. Following is the breeding of those shipped. Bar colt, by Stefan the Great Dark Flight, by Dark Ronald. Bay colt, by ronimcrn T.ady 7... by Ajax. Bay filly, by Galloper Light Flour dOrangc, by "William the Third. Chestnut filly, by Gay Crusader La Taraguaya, by Flying Fox. Bay filly, by Cylgad Theresa, by Ajax. If he achieves his object lie will then make a raid upon Ireland and attempt to complete a feat hitherto unaccomplished. For the Belair stud, Maryland, the Minnewaska brings a nice bay yearling filly by Pommern from Silver Light, by Radium. The next dam is a half sister to the dam of Archaic and Keysoe. It is hoped she may develop into a good stayer which may win the Coaching Club Cup. For Mr. William Hogan of Westchester there are a couple of yearlings, which were bred in lrekuid. They are : Bay colt, by Argosy Belle of the West, by Tomas-an-Appagh. Bay colt, by Argosy Lady Ahvine, by Bcnvenuto. There are a number of polo ponies as well as hunters coming to American sportsmen.
