PRINCE HAMLET began flat-footed and closed an immense gap into a fast going second. AGGRAVATING PAPA also closed a gap and finished fast. NO LADY finished with a rush cn the outside. FLYING FUR closed up some ground. ROMAN GIRL raced into the lead in the stretch and tired. SUN LADY ran well to the last eighth. XIXIA set a fast pace to the stretch and tired badly. FASKADALE was saved for the first two miles within striking distance of the pacemaker and, jumped cleanly, passed ROI CRAIG in the last and held HOUDINI safe under mild restraint. The latter gained steadily when called on, but was easily held safe by the winner. ROI CRAIG was going easily in the lead for the first two miles, but tired badly when challenged. TRYSTER, on the inside all the way, set the early pace, but tired after going seven-eighths and was eased up when beaten.
