CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES II. Neusteter is said to be in a bad way and fears are being entertained for his recovery. Charles Henry, who was appointed patrol judge at the Havana track, has declined the appointment. W. M. Cain made an addition to his stable when he claimed Lugs, winner of the third race, at a cost of ,200. Williams Brothcis have decided not to race any of their horses during the winter and will at the close of the Churchill Downs meeting transfer their string into winter quarters at Douglas Fark. Mose Goldblatt, this morning, sent three of his men from here to the Brookdale Farm at Red Bank, N. J., where they will transfer twelve of the Harry Payne Whitney yearlings to New Orleans. "Bud" C. Gentry, who is in partnership with A. J. Riley in the ownership of the horses racing under the nom do course of the Friars Inn Stable, was among the arrivals from Chicago and will remain for the remainder of the meeting. I C. E. Patterson is arranging to ship the horses lie has under his care to Lexington, where they will be wintered at the Hirnyar Stud Farm. Mr. Patterson will train the extensive band of yearlings owned by P. T. Chinn and will also supervise the preparation of Edward B. McLeans Horgan for his start in the Kentucky Derby next year. :
