Wideners St. James, conqueror of the mighty Zev in the Paumonok Handicap," the opening day at Jamaica, will be shipped to Pimlico on Thursday, to fulfill his engagement in the rich Preakncss. St. James, on the strerfgth of his smashing victory over the Rancocas Stable star at this meeting, will be the outstanding choice of the many New Yorkers that contemplate a trip to the monumental city to witness the race. Jockey E. Kummer, who rr.de St. James in his spectacular eastern three-year-old debut, will have the mount in the Trcakness. The son of Ambassador IV. — Bobolink II., will be in charge of trainer J. Creevy who is handling the stable during the illness of A. J. Joyner. St. James had a gallop at P.elmont Park Saturday morning of a mile and went the first three-quarters in 1:15, and the mile in 1 :44%. He will be given a final work before being placed aboard the car.
