Latest Turf Notes From Lexington I.EXTNGTON. Ky.. May 3.— Graeme was excused from the Camden Handicap on account of having a high fever. Major Thomas C. McDowell and C. II. Berry man were the honorary stewards this afternoon. All the members of the State Racing Commission were on hand to witness the afternoons spot t. Julius Reeder is busily engaged receiving registration of horses and badge lists for the Churchill Downs meeting. S. N. Holman. manager of the Maple Heights track has sent word that the minimum purse at the Cleveland track would be . Trainer J. Moody has decided that Randel has had enough of racing and will turn him out until fall at Theo. A. Muellers farm near Louisville. Jake Holtman has been notified of his appointment to the position of starter at the forthcoming meeting at Maple Heights. William H. Shelley and J. T. Ireland will serve at the same meeting as judges. Shelley has also been engaged to serve in the judges stand at the Omaha meeting. Jockeys W. Gantner and IT. King were de-j nied riding licenses today. John McGurk and T. W. Scully were given trainers licenses. A. L.
