SKY SCRAPER II. raced under restraint through the first turn of the field, hen joined the leaders with a rush when called on and. passing SEA SERPENT when coming to last the jump, drew away and won easing up. SKA SERPENT raced ROCK BASS into defeat and while iosing considerable ground on the turns, raced into an easy lead, but tired badly. ST. LAWRENCE, close up all he way. blundered badly at the final jump ROCK BASS showed much speed, but made a bad landing at the fifth jump and did not recover. CRAYLKTTE and SMIIJNG MEADOW were always outrun. THE BAflM fell at the fifth jump while AL FRESCO fell at the seventh and BOATMAN lost his rider at the eighth. The latter was shuffled hack after the start, but worked his way up on the outside and. finishing with a rush, woud have won in another stride. PRICK ran a good race, saved ground .11 th» stretch turn and finished fast. STARBECK was much used in racing with BONTAID and tired. DONNELLY ran well. The others were always outrun. JAINEHAR lost his rider at the start.
