BALSAM LAKE sprinted into the lead en the I first turn and set a fast pace, but was tiring at the end. BETH HODDER raced close to the early leaders and came on resolutely when called on in the homestretch, but failed to quite get up. OCEAN [ CREST raced in closest pursuit of the pacemaker to the stretch, but tired after making a challenge at the sixteenth post. DELLAHM practically left at Uie post, closed an immense gap. Won ridden out; second and 1 third driving. KINSMAN raced into the lead on the stretch turn and held it easily to the finish. DOliGHNUT closed a gap and came fast in the final sixteenth. PICNIC raced forwardly all the way. but tired slightly when called on. SHIE ran well for a half mile. FLYING BEAUTY quit after Teaching the homestretch. The latter hnished re olntely. but could rot quite catch he winner. KIRK DRESS began slowly and closed a big gap in the final eighth. OKEECHOBEE also made up much ground. The latter came fast on tho outside when cutering the stretch and just failed to get up. PENNON, always close up, ran a good race, but was in dose quarters all of the last eighth. YUSHIMI was far back until on the far turn, from where he moved up fast on the outside after getting his head in front, was taken over sharply to the inside, causing a jam and was disqualified. SERVITOR set the pace and. responding gamely to hard riding, was again wearing the leader down. DEVONITE escaped interference and finished fast. GATH and THE GAFF had no chance after Uie jam.
