i ! i . NEWS NOTES OF THORNCLIFFE TORONTO, Ont. May 28. Jockey W. Marriner was suspended by the stewards for three days for rough riding on Care Free in the fourth race Tuesday. Starter George Palmer added the following horses to his schooling list: Bessie Felix, | Buddie Kean and Trevan. Bona Fide was excused by stewards from the first race on account of a slight bow. James Arthur reports that four of his two-• year-olds are on the sick list. Following the running of the fourth race the stewards suspended E. Ambrose for the remainder of the meeting.
