JOHNSON DISPERSAL SALE A. C. Bostwick Pays Top Price of ,500 for Infinite. Same Owner Secures Dream Maker for .,000 S. N. Holman Gets Purity for Like Sum. j SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 23. The dispersal sale of the horses in training and broodmares of Frederick Johnson was , held Friday evening under the auspices of the Fasig-Tipton Company and a crowd of large proportions was on hand to bid for the , different lots. A. C. Bostwick paid the high- , est price of the night, when he secured the , chestnut colt Infinite on his bid of 59,500. He also paid the second highest price of the evening when he went ,000 for Dream Maker, a brown gelding by Manager Waite. Other lots were offered, the most prominent of which were J. E. Wideners Purity which sold for ,000 to S. N. Holman. The latter was an active bidder during the course of the evening. Of the broodmares from the Johnson con- , signment, the Audley Farm paid ,100 for imported Reluctant a chestnut mare by Sun-star from Rcse of Ayrshire by Ayrshire.
