COLUMBUS FALL MEETING Ten Days Racing to Be Held from Oct. 22 to Nov. 1 Moving on to Maple Heights. COLUMBUS, O.. Aug. 23. It was officially announced today by the Capital City Racing Association that a fall meeting of ten days will be given at Beulah Park from October 22 to November 1. Wm. Snyder has been engaged to do the starting at the Ashland Fair. Raceland Park, Ky., from September 1. to September 6. The condition books distributed hero call for purses of 00 and up and five or more races daily. Many of the stables which have been racing at this meeting will be shipped to Cleveland to await the opening at Maple Heights September 6, for thirteen days. Jockey N. Burger is about after his recent fall, his face being somewhat scraped up. H. T. Batchler secured Leona Dare for ,200 via the claiming route yesterday, taking the fdly from J. Hoskins. Ray Forsha reports that he has sold Title to J. Brown of Havana, Illinois, to be retired to the stud, and Dorothy Buckner to J. H. McCool. Forsha will ship Blue Hill from here to Belmont Park, N. Y.
