. STABLES LEAVE FOR NIAGARA About One Hundred Horses Shipped from Montreal to the Falls Track. NIAGARA FALLS, Ont, August .23. About 100 horses were shipped from Montreal for the meeting to open at the Niagara Falls race course on Wednesday, August 27. Tho following horsemen shipping from Montreal made reservations: C. W. Dodds, three ; Hugh Hanna, three ; L. J. Taner, two ; W. Barker, seven ; W. Russell, six ; E. J. Doyle, seven ; J. Everest, three ; O. Tuttle, ten ; R. Lucas, three ; P. Hawkins, two ; H. W. Barnes, twelve; W. Mein, three; L. Dun-lopp, four ; W. E. Jones, five ; J. E. Farley, three ; George Foley, live ; W. G. Campbell, twelve ; P. Delaney, nine ; R. S. Coppage, ten ; L. Crist, three ; P. Himphy, ten ; P. Mock, eight. One change was made in the officials already announced. George Palmer wired general manager M. C. Dewer that he would ba unable to act as starter at the Falls meeting. William Snyder was named in his stead.
