THORNCLIFFE TURF NOTES TORONTO, Ont, Sept. 15. "W. M. Cain, represented by William A. in the second race, claimed Arragosa from A. J. Johnson for ,500r John P. Turner arrived this morning from Marlbpro, Md., and will assume his duties as clerk of the scales here. Marshall Cassidy is in receipt of a wire asking him to do the starting at the new track at Cleveland. Jockey R. Costello was set down by the stewards for four days for cutting across in front of the others while astride Black Hackle in the fourth race.
