POLTOVA moved up soon after the start and raced into a pocket, then was sharply cut off when he attempted to go through on the inside on the turn out of the backstretch, but came again in the last eighth and outfinished TIDAL WAVE. WRAITH was on the outside and was forced wide on the last turn, but outgamed NEW HAMPSHIRE in the final drive. NEW HAMPSHIRE raced gamely, but below his best form.
