I GUY GARNERS BIG DAY SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. PARIS, France, Sept 15. The fall opening at Longchamps yesterday gave Guy Garner, the American rider, a chance to score a triple and run away with the riding honors of the big d:?y. One of the horses which he rode was Uganda, which scored in the Prix Royal Oak. Transvaal, the winner of the Grand Prix de Paris, finished last in this event. This bears out the general opinion that he was extremely lucky to win the big stake rarfrr in the year. Lord Derbys Rapiat won the Omnium Handicap with Sharpe in the saddle. Twenty-one started in the race. The opening was favored by fine weather and a big crowd turned out for the sport. Today at Le Tremblay, J. E. Wideners Listen In, ridden by Semblat, won the Prix Mon Etoile easily by two lengths. Eleven horses started.
