FOREIGN RELATIONS, away well and given a good ride, saved much ground on the turns and, racing into the lead in the stretch, outstayed HESSANNA. The latter, also well ridden, closed a i big gap and, coming fast through the stretch, finished gamely. VALLETTE closed a big gap in the last : quarter under hard riding. BOW BOWERS was ridden wide into the stretch and made a fast finish. ; KARACHI set a fast pace to the stretch and tired. ELSASS was done after going the first half mile. JUBGE PRYOR, also well ridden, closed a gap in the last eighth and finished fast. BELLE OF ELIZABETHTOWN swerved out badly in the stretch under weak riding.
