LAUREL TRACK NOTES LAUREL, Md., Nov. 1. Epinard will be shipped to New York Monday to take ship for France. L. A. Seregni. turned Woodlake over to E. Trueman for training. A. H. Morris came from New York to see Rustic carry his silks in the Washington. Jim Flint will make the Pimiico engage-mens of C. Allen, Morty Murphys good apprentice. B. Blackmont stopped off for a few days of Maryland racing before going to New Orleans. C. Fairbrother, A. J. GoldsborougVs rider, made the trip from New York to ride Single Foot in the Manor Handicap. J. B. Campbell is working on the Jefferson Park condition book arid w;ill have it ready for distribution near the "close of the Pimiico meeting. Fancy Free broke down badly behind in her race Friday and will be turned out for the winter, although M. J. OLeary had intended campaigning her at Havana. L. Fator, who has been at Pimiico for two or three days with the Rancocas Stable, journeyed over for the day and accepted a couple of mounts. E. Thomas departed for Chicago on his way to Tijuana, with A. Clausner, a promising apprentice; He will have other riders at the border meeting. Jockeys will be required to report at Pimiico at 12:30. Bridgie Bennett announced that all colors not taken from the room at the last race will be sent to Pimiico. W. Keating arrived from New York to make riding engagements for J. Callahan and C. Hooper. The latter is a youngster under contract to the Joaquin Stable, which will be campaigned at Pimiico by T. Queen. The stewards suspended J. Lang for the remaining day of the meeting for reckless driving in the sixth race Friday and referred his case to the commission. He was astride Sun Lady. Al Weston has been appointed steward to" represent the Maryland Jockey Club at Pimiico. George Brown, Jr., will represent the state commission. The two chose Frank Bryan as the third man in the stand. In discussing the amount of punishment; meted out by him to riders at this meeting, starter Milton recalled that he went through 2G5 days without fining or suspending a rider. He believes the abolition of whips here has made the suspensions necessary to keep the boys in line. Trank Farrar bought Double Tip from the Queen City Stable. He will try the son of Bachelors Double on the fiat and if unsuccessful with him there will put him back to chasing next spring. The horse is sound but did not live up"- to expectations in the Queen City Stable and Is cast of to make room for new material.
