i 1 Mf ru-yi-tr -J-y-,tm ,iinTc jrir SARAZEN RETIRED FOR THE YEAR SARAZEN Mrs. Vanderbilts great little racer, Sarazen, has arrived at Belmont Park after a strenuous fall campaign and was immediately sent into winter quarters and retired from the activities of the race track until next year. Sarazen won eight out of twelve starts this year and accounted for 5,640 in prize money. His greatest triumph of the year was in the Third International Special at Latonia, when he beat Epinard in one of the fastest races ever run anywhere, at a mile and a quarter.
