Won easily; second and third driving. MMROD, showing the most speed, raced into the lead at once and. holding it well for the entire race, won in a canter. CLIMAX was saved under restraint in the early running, came fast in the stretch, but was easily held safe. MISS ROSEDALE ran well and finished gamely although tiring badly in the stretch. LADY JANE finished fast. QUOIN also finished well. LUCKY DRIFT took the lead quickly and showed fine speed in fast pacemaking and, finishing gamely, outstayed FAIR VISION. The latter was in closest pursuit all the way, but lost ground by coming wide into the stretch, then almost got up in the final drive. LUCKY saved much ground on the turns and finished fast. TWILIGHT HOUR was away stumbling and suffered from interference soon after the start and tired in the stretch after racing into third place. SARI was always outpaced and far back.
