VALUABLE BROOD MARE DEAD LONDON, Eng., Dec. 5. Saxham Lass, the valuable brood mare owned by the Irish breeder-owner. Air. C. T. Wallis, dropped dead recently. She was carrying a foal by Flying Orb. Saxiham Lass was the dam of Vesington Star the best two-year-old in Ireland in 1923, and sold at the end of that season to the Italian sportsman, Signor Ranucci, for 10.000 sovs Orby Lass, Vesington Boy and Tommy Lad.
