Miss Dora Lutz, daughter of Gene Butz, underwent an operation for appendicitis at a local hospital and is doing as well as could be expected. Jockey K. T. Moore departed today for Akron, Ohio. While grazing Seths Dream yesterday, J. afcOraw was kicked by the mare in the face, suffering a gash which necessitated fourteen stitches to close. B. A. Jones will ship his two-year-olds, including the southern champion Captain Seth, to Lexington. Ky., at the conclusion of this meeting to fill his stake engagements on the Kentucky tracks. The aged division of the stable will be shipped to Beulah Park, Columbus.
