w CANADIAN TURF NOTES TORONTO. Ont., April 25. The stable of J. C. Fletcher has arrived at Woodbine from the Downsview Stock Farm. The stables of Arthur, Brent and Wm. Red Walker have arrived from Tijuana, J. C. Fletcher has sold Algonquin, which will hereafter be used for saddle purposes. When the Seagram Stable arrives the early part of next week practically all province-bred racers will be on the ground. B. E. Chapmans mare Padua has a fine chestnut colt by Nutcracker at Thorncliffe Park. Fairbank, J. C. Fletchers three-year-old filly, winner of the Coronation Stakes last year, and eligible for the Kings Plae, now training at Woodbine, looks well advanced in training. Six carloads of horses are on their way to Woodbine Park from Tijuana, Those shipping are the Nevada Stock Farm Stable, which has General Thatcher and other horses; Mira Monte Farm Stable, owned by Dr. Macomber, the owner of the French horse Phusla, and C. Irby, W. Walker, J. Bernard, Mrs. G. Abbott, F. S. Page, R. F. Carman, L. R. Knifong, H. E. Calwell, L. R. Bryon and others.
