QUATRAIN WORKS MILE LOriSVILLE, Ky., April 25.— Frederick Johnsons Quatrain, was given a mile gallop in 1 :4S at Churchill Downs today, marking his first ical exercise in a whole week, and the manner in which he took to his task indicated he will be fit and ready for the big event. Brave Bob covered a mile in 1 :43, but no other eligible outside of Quatrain was asked to do anything beyond short gallops. Drowsy Waters went three-quarters in 1 :14 3-5 and Lee O. Cotner worked three-quarters in 1 :17 2-5.
