Pool Notified that Conduct Must be Above Reproach. ♦ LEXINGTON. Ky., April 25.— At a meeting of the State Racing Commission, officials submitted by the Kentucky Jockey Club, Kentucky Association and the Tri-State Fair and Racing Association were acted upon favorably. Each association named a complete list of officials for the year. The officials named by general manager Matt J. Winn, in which Charles F. Price, associate member of the Kentucky Jockey Club, and who for years was recognized as one of the oldest officials in the point of service, is not included as a steward. Mr. Price, however, is a member of the board of handicappers and will be just as active as in previous years, aiding Colonel Winn in providing the best sport possible for patrons of Churchill Downs and Latonia. Members of the commission summoned jockeys M. Garner and E. Pool to notify both riders that their conduct on and off the tracks during the year must be above reproach. Following are the officials approved : Kentucky Association — Lexington. Stewards— C. W. Hay and W. H. Shelley. Placing Judges — Julius G. Reeder, M. H. McClelland, J. S. Wallace. Handicappers — W. H. Shelley and J. S. Wallace. Starters — William Hamilton and William Snyder. Clerk of scales— N. II. McClelland. Racing secretary — W. H. Shelley. Patrol judge — Brownell Berryman. Paddock judge— Dr. J. T. Chawk. Timer — S. K. Hughes. Tri-State Fair anil Racing Association — Raccland: Stewards — John S. Barbee, Brownell Berry-man and Thomas B. Cromwell. Judges— W. 11. Shelley, N. H. McClelland and Julius G. Reeder. Handicappers — W. H. Shelley, Thomas B. Cromwell and Brownell Berryman. Racing secretary — W. H. Shelley; assistant racing secretary, Julius G. Reeder. Clerk of the scales— N. H. McClelland. Patrol judge — William Phillips. Paddock judge — Dr. Cornelius Cann. Timer — S. K. Hughes. Starters — -William Hamilton and William Snyder. Kentucky Jockey Club — Churchill Downs and Latonia: Stewards— S. C. Nuckols, C. W. Hay and Elijah Hogg. Placing judges— W. H. Shelley, N. H. McClelland and E. B. Webb. Handicappers — W. H. Shelley, J. S. Wallace and C. F. Price. Racing secretary — W. H. Shelley. Entry clerk — J. II. Wallace. Clerk of the scales— N. H. McClelland. Paddock ;udge— Dr. J. T. Chawk. Timers — S. K. McLaughlin was named supervisor of pari-mutuels on every track. L. G. Thei- sen was named telegraph censor on all tracks. Secretary Sherwood and the stewards at each track will constitute the license committee at each track during the racing season. «.
