Dick Welles* Selections At Havre De Grace THKRKSA JOAN— DAXJKROtS KITTY— THRKK US. THKRKSA JOAN chased home a mighty good filly in Beatrice Noyes and a ticking by the latter is no disgrace. There is no comparison between the class of Beatrice Noyes and the band THKRKSA JOAN will meet in the opening contest today, however, and W. Keatings filly should take the winners share from DANGEROUS KITTY. The latter showed by her third to Sea Moss at Bowie that shes ready. Kor the show end THKKK OS looks best. This colt has a nice way of going and has been in the money frequently in his races. If. P .WHITNEY KNTRY— THK II K A THEN" —LENA KINEIIAKT. With CAPRICORN and FLORIAN carrying his colors, it appears as if Harry Payne Whitney has a strangle hold on the two-year-old second race. Both have won, with CAPRICORN showing the most from a time standpoint. CAPRICORN wasnt forced to run last time out as his stablemate Miniator cinched the race early. The Dis Done gelding may War the brunt of the work today. THK HKATHKN and LBNA RINEHART displayed enough speed in recent races to warrant picking them to fill the places. APOSTLE— WELSHOT— TRAFFIC . APOSTLK. WKLSHOT and TRAFFIC should make the third rac- and finish as named. As good a colt as Timmara is reputed to be could only beat WELSHOT three lengths, while APOSTLK, under a strong pull, boat the Weston gelding four lengths. Thry will meet again today, and the result should be the same. APOSTLK first, WKLSHOT second. TRAFFIC figures to be close. This Whitney miss is a sweet runner, and Saturdays tilt with TOY LAND gave her the needed honing. SENATOR NORRLS— POLLY M«WHH3 LES — CINEMA. H. G. Bedwell is making hay while the sun shines and while SENATOR NORRIS continues to hold his form. He has named this pood Cudgel horse in todays fourth and fifth races. In the fourth his chances look best and has only one horse to beat. POLLY McWIOOLKS. They met in the Harford Handicap opening day and were third and four h. Since then, however. SENATOR NORRIS has won one good" race. He will have to give- the filly a great deal of weight but should concede it and win. CINEMA at 97 pounds is well placed. This is exceedingly light weight for such a good one and she might step down for the winners end. A play to be in the money is almost a sure thing. SA R A I E N— JO Y SMOKE— SEN ATOR NORRIS. Much will depend upon SARAZKNS temper today. It" the great little gelding is in a running mood he should tow-rope the band opposing him. If. however, he is in a sulking mood a common everyday plater can beat him. Max Hirsch has him ready. K. F. Whitneys speedy JOY SMOKE, in receipt of ten p unds from Mrs. Yanderbilts gelding may be the runner-up. He wheeled in the Harford Handicap so there is no recen: race for a line on his form but if hes ready hes a fast trick and capable of extending SARAZKN. SENATOR NORRIS has a better chance to win the fourth than he has in this race but if he goes here he will be hard to keep out of the money. SWEPT— FRED UIBNER— V. REEK FRIAR. A large band of cheap platers meet in the sixth with SWK1T probably best. He was a good second to Montferrat last week and the same race repeated today should bring him home- winner. Write your own ticket for the place. FTtKD DUBNER isnt much but may show great improvement if he runs to a recent workout. Since reaching Maryland GREEK FRIAR has picked up and his trial gallops were much better than his Miami races. He may be the one to show. WILKES-BARRE— HID ALUO— ROXANA. A misfit ride made WILKES-BARRE look bad last Thursday. In contrast with his three previous races that gallop was a knockout. Throw it out and string along with him to cop the final heat from HIDALGO and BOX ANA HIDALGO gets a slight drop in weight off his last, which he won. He likes the one to beat. ROXANA won a nice race from Lanoil and Gray Gables the other day and a repetition of that effort is good for a part here.
