COLONEL VENNTES FUNERAL FUNERALLOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 21 The funeral services of Colonel Vennie who died sud ¬ denly in his apartment over the track offices at Churchill Downs will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 30 in Pearsons mortuary Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery The pall bearers will be announced tonight Thou ¬ sands of messages of condolence from per ¬ sons all over the country were received today by the Kentucky Jockey Club and by Col Matt J Winn Many persons now at distant points have telegraphed they would come for the funeral
