MARJORY SETH IMPRESSES Takes Cornhusker Purse, Feature at Omaha — Ladies Day Is Well Patronized. OMAHA. Neb.. June 1S Marjory Scth, daughter of Seth — Sevenfull, won the Cornhusker Purse for two-year-olds, which was the feature attraction at A-k-Sar-l?en Meld today, and in doing so defeated two horaaa which were carrying the silks of Pen Jones, her breeder, as well as several other fleet juveniles. Palolo, the favorite, was naeiftnd, a neck back of the winner, while Sergeant Seth, one of the Jones entries, was third. The winner was well up from the start and, taking command when Hildred Seth tired at the stretch turn, opened up a gap which enabled her to secure victory. No less than five of the get of Seth started in this race. The ladies program was a good one and a large crowd was out to witness i.s running. Bain threatened early in the clay, but the skies brightened about noon ana the track was in the best of condition. J. C. Kenning, making his first start of the meeting, won the opening dash in a handy manner. He was never far from the pace and, moving up strongly as the field rounded the stretch turn, he panned the leaders and led to the finish. It was a tight fit for second place, with Good Hope getting it by a head from Miss Caltha and the latter being a nose in advance of Anna Chestnut. Several bad actors made their appearance in the second race and they delayed the start for many minutes by their fractious behavior. Furious Bill and Waldout were the worst offenders. Miss Emerson was the winner. Fairys Beau second and The Nephew third. The third race fell to Collie Tokalon in an easy manner, while Korbly showed a startling form reversal to take the fourth. This one was an even money choice in a like field the other day and ran a disgraceful race. He was at his best today and led for practically the entire way. The Colonel was second and Black Mask third. Pearl Boots was claimed yesterday by B, Creech for ,600. Furious Bill was claimed by P. Kelly for .000.
