FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES COLLINSVIU.E. III.. June IS. Considerable excitement was created around the track this morning as a result of the holdup by bandits on the main highway of the truck that conveys money from the mutuel department to the bank. The highwayman must have been keenly disappointed when they opened the strong box and found it empty. The transfer of the money from the track to the bank is accompanied by ji strong armed guard. Todays empty vehicle had no guard, probably lucky for the bandits. The condition book covering a period of the next seven days racing was distributed this morning to horsemen. Jockey L. Gevings injury, sustained yesterday by a fall on Amir, was slight, and he left the hospital this morning.
