SENTIMENTAL TOMMIE closed up ground in the stretch and outfinished GAY BOY II. The latter raced well and suffered from sharp interference repeatedly, but came fast through the stretch when clear. SQCIRE McMASTERS was forced back on the turn for home, but came to the outside and gained steadily. POL ROGER tired badly alter working his way up in the stretch. INTAKE showed the most early speed, but quit in the final drive. SMOOTH ICE suffered from interference. FANOC tired in the stretch. HIS QUEEN raced badly.
