W.H.WHITEHOUSE HOLDINGS Owner of Royal Julian to Race Only Horses of Own Breeding — Enlarging His Interests. LOUISVILLE, Ky.. April 15.— W. II. White-house, Cincinnati horseman, and owner of Iloyal Julian and other horses in the keeping of Lon Johnson at Churchill Howns, is broadening his thoroughbred interests. Mr. Whitehouse recently adopted the plan of racing horses only of his own breeding and if he adheres to his plan he will have an extensive racing stable in a few years. He bred Iloyal Julian, which is scheduled to carry his colors in the furthcoming Kentucky 1 erby and, naturally, is proud of the colt, which showed up well as a t wo-year-olds ana promises to improve this year. ] loyal Julian comes from a family of stake winners, being by Iloyal II., winner of the Latonia Derby, and Julia L.. which won many races in the colors of Jefferson Livingston. Trainer Lon Johnson shares the opinion of owner Whitehouse in regard to the class and ability of Iloyal Julian and believes the colt will develop into a racer of exceptional merit. At his farm near Covington. Mr. White-house has a number of good brood mares, including Lillian Shaw, Julia L., Xinthon and Melus.
