Ancillas Victory in Inaugural Handicap Places Him at Top of Horses — 05,12* Distributed During Meeting. ♦ The first spring meeting held in Maryland this year was conducted at Bowie by the Southern Maryland Agricultural and Fair Association from April 1 to April 13. During the eleven days of racing, a total of seventy-seven races were run and a total of 05,420, a daily average of ,583, distributed in stakes and purses. F. J.
